How to Use

1. Fit the DE LI JING Red Infrared Bulb into a standard E27 brooder lamp holder or socket.
2. Position the lamp above the brooding area at the recommended height — approximately 45–60cm above the floor for most chick brooders.
3. Switch on and allow the bulb to warm the brooding area before introducing chicks.
4. Monitor the temperature at chick level — aim for 32–35°C in the first week, reducing by 2–3°C per week as chicks grow.
5. Observe your chicks — if they crowd under the lamp they are too cold; if they avoid it they are too hot. Adjust height accordingly.
6. Keep the bulb on continuously during the brooding period — consistent warmth is critical especially in the first 3 weeks.
7. Replace the bulb promptly if it fails to ensure your chicks are never left without warmth overnight.
