How to Use the Ramtons RM/399 Electric Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its base and open the lid by pressing the lid release button.
  2. Fill with cold water to your desired level — use the water gauge to fill to the correct amount (min/max markings).
  3. Close the lid securely and place the kettle back on the base.
  4. Plug the base into a power outlet and switch on the kettle using the on/off switch.
  5. The kettle will heat the water rapidly — the indicator light shows when it is actively boiling.
  6. The kettle will automatically switch off once water reaches boiling point, or instantly if run dry (boil-dry protection).
  7. Lift the kettle off the base and pour carefully — always point the spout away from people when pouring.
