How to Use the RAMTONS Steam Iron RM/694

  1. Fill the 200ml water tank with clean water before use — do not overfill.
  2. Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to suit your fabric type.
  3. Wait for the temperature indicator light to signal the iron is ready.
  4. For flat ironing, glide the non-stick soleplate smoothly over garments using the continuous steam function.
  5. For hanging garments or curtains, activate the vertical steam function and hold the iron a few centimetres from the fabric.
  6. After ironing, switch off and unplug the iron. Empty remaining water from the tank and store upright.
  7. Allow to cool fully before storing — the overheat protection will cut off power if the iron overheats during use.

Pro Tip: For best results on stubborn creases in heavy fabrics like denim or linen, hold the RAMTONS steam iron briefly over the crease to let the steam penetrate before gliding over it — this relaxes the fabric fibres far more effectively than dry ironing and delivers a crisper, longer-lasting finish with significantly less effort.
